In the state of Virginia a wedding license is required. A license can be obtained at a Circuit Court clerk's office in any locality in the state of Virginia.

**There is a fee for the license. You will need cash to pay for the license. $30-$40

**Most licenses are good for 60 days.

**Both parties must be 18 years of age and have an I.D.

**No blood test is required.

Fees: $150-$195  for a wedding in the Virginia Beach area. This includes a meeting with the couple, help with writing vows and performing the ceremony. There is an additional fee of $75 for the rehearsal. All fees increase with additional meetings and/or travel distance is added. Day of the week and holidays are also a consideration.

An online wedding ceremony samples booklet is available once a deposit is made and the wedding is scheduled for my services.
